Families at CHCP will have multiple avenues to engage with the greater community to address challenges, support student development, and celebrate learning and student growth. It is a small learning community where students are known as individuals and receive a personalized education based on inquiry, problem-solving and reflection where students are the center of learning and are cognitively engaged in real-world tasks. All students receive the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind to succeed in a challenging college program and are successful in the 21st century. Students will be active members in the community creating a positive impact for future generations.

Principal’s Message

CONGRATULATIONS! You have been matched to Cypress Hills Collegiate Preparatory High School. This is an exciting and possibly anxious time for you. CHCP wants to provide you with a smooth transition to high school and the best way to do this is to attend one of our Open House dates. For our Open House dates call us at (718) 647-1672. Join us for a tour of the campus, participate in fun activities, get CHCP swag and learn about upcoming opportunities to engage with the Cypress Hills Community.

You will leave middle school as the oldest scholar and will now be the youngest. High school is competitive but is also the place that you get to explore all of your academic, athletic and leisure pursuits. You will be well-prepared for college and career, plus you will make really great friends. CHCP and the Franklin K. Lane Campus has a lot to offer you.
